Private Hire Terms & Conditions
Please find below the terms and conditions for the private hire of the Gipsy Queen.

Please arrive promptly for your booking. We can only hold tables for 15 minutes. If you are running late please let us know by giving us a call on 02030920598. If you are more than 15 minutes late for the booking, we reserve the right to treat your reservation as a no-show or cancellation and the deposit will be non-refundable.
Only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed. Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed by persons 18 years of age or over and photographic identification may be required. We hold the right to refuse service of alcohol at our sole discretion if we believe someone to be underage, or too intoxicated.
We politely request that you conduct yourself, and ensure that all guests visiting The Gipsy Queen conduct themselves appropriately at all times and comply with any requests and notices regarding conduct, health and safety and respecting the premises, our neighbours, employees and other guests.
Violent, threatening, racist or homophobic language or behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to remove guests from the venue if deemed appropriate. This will result in loss of the deposit paid.
We reserve the right to retail deposit and/or charge you for any damage caused by any member(s) of your party at the premises.
If you or any member of your booking party has individual needs such as reduced mobility, please advise us. We will try our hardest to accommodate your needs.
Please inform us if you or your guests have any allergies or specific dietary requirements. We will try our best to accommodate, however due to the way the food is prepared, it is not possible to guarantee the absence of allergens in the food and drinks.
All property left or brought into our premises is entirely at the owner’s risk. We do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property left or brought onto the premises.
Your right to cancel or make changes to your booking
If you wish to make a change to your booking, please contact us directly. We will let you know if the change is possible and anything else which may be necessary as a result of your requested change, including any increased deposit amount required.
All changes to your booking are subject to availability.
Cancelling your booking
If you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, please let us know as far in advance as possible. In the event of cancellation of the booking by you within 48 hours, or a no-show for any reason, any deposit paid is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The deposit amount represents reasonable compensation to us of the net costs that we incur as a result of your cancellation or no-show in terms of staffing, food and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.
We always want to treat our guests fairly and have an obligation to do so. On that basis where a deposit has been paid for a booking, it will usually be refundable in the following circumstances:
- If you tell us you wish to cancel your booking at least 48 hours before your booking date
- If we are unable to honour your booking
- We have not informed you about an error made by us in relation to your booking and you do not wish to proceed
- If we choose to refund your deposit for any other reason, at our sole discretion.
Where a deposit has been paid for your booking and we have agreed to refund the deposit, you will need to contact us directly so that we can process the cancellation and issue a refund. We will refund you via the method you used for payment.
